Meeting Started at 7:02PM – Ended at 7:32PM

  1. Update on Club Operations (Joe)
  • Sponsors (7 of 8 returning, all have paid)
    1. Joe Paladino has leads on additional sponsors
    2. Board agreed to not exceed 10 Golf Genius sponsors
  • 2025 Membership Drive 
    1. 112 YTD
    2. Additional reminder sent on 2/14 with more to come leading up to season start
  • Scholarship Donations
    1. $745 YTD
  • 2024 Taxes
    1. Pete Silver completed before leaving for Florida

 

  1. New Member Integration Follow Up (Joe)
    1. Board agreed to not change the format of the Opening Shamble to a blind 4 man scramble due to the increased risk of pace of play issues
    2. Membership committee to create a happy hour or weekday event during the month of May and prior to the Member Member to have a meet & greet with membership
  2. Update on Course Ratings / Handicap Hole Allocations (Bekim)
    1. MGA has provided their recommendation on handicap holes.  Course rating and slope rating still to be finalized
    2. Waiting on SGA’s final recommendation
  3. Rules Seminar (John)
    1. Targeting April 4th or 5th pending the availability of the MGA and the theatre
  4. Tee Sign Sponsorships (Joe P)
    1. Board aligned to $100 sponsorship fee for the season which will entitle a tee sign for each of the 4 major events (Opening, Member/Member, Member Guest, & Closing)
    2. Golf Genius sponsors will have a tee sign at no additional charge
  5. 2025 Scholarships (Joe)
    1. Board approved providing 5th year seniors an additional $1,000 scholarship as long as they fall within the requirements of the scholarship program (i.e. existing member of the club, enrolled in school, not exceeding their 4 scholarship allocations.
  6. Website (Tristan)
    1. Tristan will work on getting it live in March
