A thrilling end to the regular season with nine players vying for the final two spots in the Sentinel Maintenance Player of the Year Finals and two players vying for the #1 seed. Men’s Club President, Jeff Mayfield, held the final spot for the October 22nd finals by holding off Chris Velander and his first place finish in the Closing Event. Only 100 points separated eighth place and 17th place. In a season long championship, placing in the final eight can come down to one made, or missed, putt over the course of the season. Congratulations to those who made it to the finals!
Below is the point structure for the final round. It’s based on the FedEx Cup algorithm. Everybody has a chance to win, though the top finishers have a much better chance than the bottom finishers.

In the case of a tie for 1st place, we will have 3-hole playoff and sudden death if there’s still a tie. All other ties split the prize money.
